Welcome to the Interdisciplinary Research Consortium on Health Disparities (IRCHD) Website

The Interdisciplinary Research Consortium on Health Disparities (IRCHD) is a team of minority researchers dedicated to eliminating minority health disparities.

Formed in January 2008, the IRCHD consists of junior faculty, post docs, and advanced graduate students. Non-academic community members are also members of the group. Senior faculty members serve as mentors to the group. Based in the metro Detroit area, members of the IRCHD come from various research institutions (Wayne State University, Karmanos Cancer Institute, Oakland University, Michigan State University, and High Scope Educational Research Foundation).
